X-mas.

I'm writing this as I have been banished to the couch after injuring myself. But I just want to take this time to share this.

Pet peeve: X-mas

That one single X is enough to make me cringe, if I am honest. Who started it? Why? I mean, Christmas comes from the Catholic tradition of Christ-mass.

I decided to research into the whole X and why its there. And the cringing has ceased.

Fun fact for the day: Χριστός is Greek for Christ.  And back when only the nobel and rich could afford an education, they would often shorten Χριστός to a single X. Thats the kick of it all.

There is a lot more I could share about when I look into Christmas,  but for now I've sat down and iced my injuries long enough. God bless you this Christmas.
